Taking It Deeper

We are perfectly imperfect
From day one everyone is searching
Just to know the reason for existence
And we find it here in your presence
So stop waiting to be better
You’re already more than enough
Cause you’re all that love needs to
Turn your world around

We are We are the anthem for the ordinary

We sing We sing the song of the unprofound
Empty hands open hearts
Crying out use us now
We are We are the anthem for the ordinary
oh oh oh---- oh oh oh--- oh oh oh--- oh oh oh

Calling generation hopeful

We are fallen chosen people
Cause it’s so much for got it all together
So don’t stand back its now or never
Just stop waiting to be better
You’re already more than enough
Cause you’re all that love needs
To turn your world around

Cause we won’t be counted out anymore.
We’re the voices crying out for more.
Cause its time to live out loud everything we’re created for.

  •    Somebody needs to stand up for the ordinary.
  •   Because it’s through the ordinary - ordinary days, and ordinary people that God does great things.

  •   Whenever something needs to be done, a call goes out.
  •   This song is your call.
  •   It is about taking who you are right now, and using it for the glory of God.
  •   As it says - you are already more than enough.

  •   That report you’re doing today.   That load that’s in the dishwasher.   Those could possibly be the things that God is going to use today.
  •   Or it may be the phone call that unexpectedly comes from a friend, or the chance encounter with the cashier at Target.
  •   God uses you to show His light to the world, and it’s usually in ways we don’t expect when we start each day.
  •   This song is the anthem for all those ordinary things.

  •   Are your hands empty?   Ready to be filled?
  •   How about your heart?   Is it open?   Ready to be used?
  •   God’s ready for you today.   He’s ready to direct you to a place where He can use you to touch another life through His love.

  •   Remember “The Truman Show?”   It was a movie about an ordinary guy, whose life was a TV show and he didn’t know it.
  •   We have a story playing out in our lives and we’re unaware of it.
  •   It’s a story of ordinary days, but one where we get to be a hero just by showing up.
  •   Because God takes our ordinary things and uses them for His glory.
